Christmas Crafting 2009

Well, this year I started my crafting before Thanksgiving and had them all done by Christmas Eve! Woo Hoo! I didn't make as much stuff as I would have liked to make but, perhaps next year I will start before Halloween. LOL Anyway, I neglected to take pictures of most of what I made, but lucky me my great friend Jennifer did!
(or at least of the things we "opened" here).

Well, I have to wonder where the time has gone! My "baby" Levi is all grown up and about to graduate from high school! What a crazy thought that is to me. When did this happen? How did he get bigger every day while I watched and still I was surprised?

The New Year Brings New Things!

Welcome in 2009! I have been saying most of '08 that 2009 had to be better! And so far, it has been. This year will bring new things my way. I have decided to take a "hooping" class and learn at the ripe old age of 42 how to hula hoop! I am going to make sure that I do new things this year.
My oldest children are all "legal" now. My daughters are over 21, my oldest son is 18 and I share my other 2 boys with their birth mom. So, this year is a new year for me. I am getting my motorcycle on the 24th. I am going to start hooping, and I am starting a list of things to do before my body refuses! LOL I want to get back to how I felt 8 years ago! And I am well on my way.

Christmas this year

Hello! Well, all in all this has been a really long and hard year. I can not say I am looking forward to Christmas this year. We have no extra money to buy anything this year. We have told the children Santa may miss us this year. But, there is still hope. I have started making gifts, and with any luck, I will have them finished and in the mail so everyone gets their gifts by Christmas.
Keep your fingers crossed for me! LOL
I am really looking forward to this year ending! I have decided that next year MUST be better than this year has been. That is not to say nothing good has happened to me this year, but the bad far out weighs the good. So, onto a new year, new president and a clear head!
